Tour Overview by Day

• Day 1-2: Abuja Arrival & Exploration – Airport greeting, cultural visits to Ushafa ("Bill Clinton Village"), Gwari tribal interactions, and the National Mosque.
• Day 3: Historical Lokoja – Hike Mount Patti and discover Nigeria's rich colonial and geographical history.
• Day 4: Lokoja to Ilorin – Flight to Ilorin to see the traditional Aro quarters and visit the Emir's palace.
• Day 5-6: Esie, Ado-Ekiti & Ikogosi Springs – View soapstone carvings at Esie Museum, pay respects at Okemesi palace, and swim in the unique warm and cold springs of Ikogosi.
• Day 7-8: Akure & the Kingdom of Owo – Tour Africa's largest palace grounds and the historic Owo Museum.
• Day 9-11: Idanre Hills, Erin Ijesha Waterfalls & Osogbo – Hike the mist-shrouded Oke-Idanre hills, view the 7 cascades of Olumirin falls, and experience the spiritual Osun-Osogbo UNESCO Grove.
• Day 12-14: Ile-Ife & Abeokuta – Walk the cradle of Yoruba civilization at Ife, climb the famous Olumo Rock, visit the Kuti Heritage Museum, and scale the suspended Iyake Lake at Ado Awaye.
• Day 15-16: Vibrant Lagos – Tour the Kalakuta Museum, Freedom Park, National Museum, and explore the canopy walks at Lekki Conservation Centre.
• Day 17: Benin City Day Excursion – Fly to Benin City to witness the world-famous bronze markets on Igun Street and the ancient moats.
• Day 18-19: Badagry Slave Route & Atlantic Beach Resort – Tour the Vlekete Slave Market and Heritage Museum before crossing the lagoon for a beachside stay at Inagbe Grand Resort.
• Day 20-21: Makoko Water Village & Departure – Experience the Makoko floating village by canoe before your final transfer to the airport.

While our itineraries utilize domestic flights to skip massive overland steps, several segments involve substantial driving times on secondary or bumpy roads.

Active days include multiple trail excursions, such as climbing the steps of Olumo Rock, navigating the multi-tiered Olumirin Waterfalls, walking the 4-hour mountain path of the Ado Awaye Suspended Lake, and hiking up the rocky plateau of Oke-Idanre. All walks are accompanied by expert local guides to ensure comfort and safety.
